Officer Michael Fecteau has been with the Salem Police Department since 1986. He has been the Department's School Resource Officer since 2000. Prior to that he was the Department's first D.A.R.E. Officer responsible for teaching that program for 12 years. Officer Fecteau brings more than 22 years of police and educational experience to this vital function. The position requires Officer Fecteau to work with school staff and administration, families, juvenile court and probation as well as the patrol and support divisions of the police department.
